At night after you've washed your face, put on your PJ's and laid down to bed you don't realize that you can aid in the reduction of puffy eyes before you fall asleep and while sleeping. Make sure to remove any and all make up with a mild make up remover that won't irritate skin. Open a window for air circulation, for breathing in stale air, whether it is yours or someone else's is sure to give you puffy eyes. Sleep with your head raised slightly higher than your body. This elevation aids in lymphatic drainage, so use two pillows if necessary. Drinking water right before bed is also a contributor to puffy eyes, so make sure to get plenty of what during the day when it counts the most.
